 They've left me alone again. I awoke to a silent home in my dirty bed in the hallway on the floor to find that they were gone. I'm used to my family leaving me like this; before I wake up, without telling me where they are going and when they will be back; but it seems to me that they are absent longer every time. And now, as I descend the stairs and walk wearily into the dark living room, I wonder if they will ever return, like I wonder every time they leave.
